East Bay Working Class So I havent even finished the album , but feel compelled to comment on it already.
This band and album are absolutely incredible! Huge vocals supported by guitar, bass, snd drums that are the perfect pairing for the vox. Probably due to the fact that band members seem to have an impressive HC pedigree---- the music is famiar but sounds built on a strong R' N R' foundation.
One of the best albums Ive stumbled onto in the past year.

ive been listening to Oi and Punk since about 83 or 84 and would put The Takes " Same" on my list of top 50 favorite albums.

A MUST HAVE FOR ANY FAN OF OI/PUNK/HC OR JUST GOOD MUSIC IN GENERAL!!!! Im eagerly awaiting future releases and hope they tour the U.S. Favorite track: Elitist.

about

Famed NYHC drummer Will Shepler (formerly of Agnostic Front, Madball) and Sick Of It All bassist Craig Setari (also formerly Agnostic Front) had an idea for a hardcore power trio. Will called longtime friend, guitarist/vocalist Scott Roberts (formerly of Biohazard, The Spudmonsters, Bloodclot!, Cro-Mags) who had just left Biohazard only weeks before. It was perfect timing for Scott as he wanted to move on and create something new from the ground up with complete creative freedom and passion. Soon after, Scott and Will began working on what would become The Take’s self titled debut record. Craig was busy with Sick Of It All’s hectic touring schedule so Scott recruited friend and oi veteran Carlos Congote (Royal Hounds, formerly of 45 Adapters, Urban Noise, Legion 76) to complete the lineup.

The Take’s self titled debut LP (engineered, mixed and produced by Scott Roberts) is scheduled for worldwide release on German label Demons Run Amok in June 28th 2019.
